Apparently I look a lot like my cousin Nicole. She lived with the same family for three summers, and all of their relatives say “Ah sí! Nicole, hola. ¿Qué tal? …I mean yeah, I have blonde hair, blue eyes, and huge boo- I mean brains. Us Americans all look the same. Haha, love ya Nicole 🙂
My first official visit to Barcelona was with my host family to an art museum, followed by a tapas bar (food) and shopping. The museum was air conditioned, so I’m planning on going back. That’s all I really need to say about that. Two lucky people will be receiving a postcard- which costed me six euros in stamps, so you lucky suckers better keep it forever!
The city is beautiful, in case you were wondering. This weekend I’m going to jump on a tour bus, eat my weight in tapas, jump in the Mediterranean, and pray to God that I can figure out how the train system works. If you don’t hear from me you’ll know that I didn’t figure it out.
Important takeaway from this post: I used to only like one kind of bar. Now I like two.
